On March 1, the Chinese delegation headed by the General Manager of “Jiangxi Blackcat Carbon Black Inc. Ltd.” Mr Wei Ming visited the “Brest” FEZ.


During the meeting in “Brest” FEZ Administration it was noted that Free Economic Zone “Brest” attracts increased attention of foreign investors, who successfully realize their products on the European Union market using the economic privileges and favorable geographic location of “Brest” FEZ.


Now, on the territory of FEZ works 47 enterprises with foreign capital. There is the company “Arlight & Co” with Chinese investments producing the LED strip.


The Chinese guests were interested in the issues of economic activity in the free economic zone, current tax and customs privileges, availability of free sites for organizing production, and the state of transport and engineering infrastructure.


The delegation members got acquainted with the presentation of “Brest” FEZ and various information materials in Chinese, as well as the proposals of the Belarusian side for the implementation of joint projects.


Further acquaintance with the free economic zone was conducted on industrial sites, where Chinese partners had the opportunity to see areas prepared for potential investors.
