On March 20, a meeting with Michael Millard, a representative of the American company Electrical Components International, was held in the administration of the FEZ “Brest”. The event was organized with the participation of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus.


Electrical Components International, founded in 1953, produces electrical cables, cable harnesses and various electrical equipment. The headquarters is located in the United States, in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. 19.5 thousand people work at 35 enterprises and 18 representative offices around the world. Company’s value is more than 700 million US dollars.


The company is focused on regional expansion. The ECI is currently exploring the possibility of organizing production in Belarus.


During the meeting, the organization of the production process on free areas of the “Brest” FEZ was discussed. Mr Millard showed a video about the work of the ECI enterprise in Poland.


The guests were informed about the working conditions of the residents of the free economic zone, a presentation of the FEZ "Brest" was held.


At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited production sites suitable for the implementation of the investment project.
