The investment project of the new resident of «Brest» FEZ will create more than 1000 jobs

One of the main tasks of free economic zones in Belarus is to promote the socio-economic development of individual regions, as well as to attract foreign investments in the creation and development of export-oriented industries.

The investment project of the German holding company POLIPOL, which will build a new enterprise on the territory of «Brest» FEZ in Ivatsevichi, will serve the solution of this problem. According to the project, the company is expanding the production of upholstered furniture. Over the years, POLIPOL products have been in steady demand in Germany and other Western European countries.

Polipol Mebel Bel LLC, a new business entity of «Brest» FEZ, is a part of the German Holding POLIPOL.
Fiodar Kalanchuk, the head of the «Brest» FEZ Administration, handed over the registration certificate to Oleg Khvalyuk, the director of Polipol Mebel Bel LLC.

Now, POLIPOL is ready to take further steps to develop business using the industrial site of «Brest» FEZ in Ivatsevichi. On the site with the area of 24.5 hectares, it is planned to build a factory for the production of upholstered furniture and other facilities that supply the production process.

The implementation of the POLIPOL business project in Brest region will take 6 years. During this time, the company intends to invest more than 25 million euros in production and it will create more than 1 thousand jobs. At the same time, 90% of production will be sold on foreign markets, mainly in Germany and other European countries.
