On May 31, Minsk hosted the Second Belarusian-African Economic Forum.
More than 170 Belarusian companies, including "Brest" FEZ residents, took part in the Forum. The African continent was represented by officials and businessmen from 14 states.
The main goal of the Forum was to develop economic and export potential, search for new growth points, and to strengthen mutual contacts.
Belarusian products occupy their niche in the African markets. Almost half of the countries of the continent know the goods labeled "Made in Belarus". Among the exporters there are residents of the "Brest" FEZ: "PP Polesie" - a manufacturer of toys for children and the group of companies "STiM", known outside Belarus for its special equipment and materials for road marking.
