Negotiations-Meeting of “Brest” FEZ Administration with the Management of the National Agency for Investments and Privatization (NAIP)

On January, the 21st, a working meeting with the management of the National Agency for Investments and Privatization (NAIP) was held in the "Brest" FEZ Administration office.


Being a State institution, NAIP helps to build close, trusting relationship between foreign businesses and government structures, it assists foreign enterprises in implementation of their investment projects in the Republic of Belarus.

The Agency participates in increasing the investment attractiveness of the country. As the organizer of the Belarusian Investment Forum, it presents the investment opportunities of the Republic at significant world events; it uses the best world practices for privatization of state property. The Agency organizes privatization tenders and it attracts foreign investors interested in business development at new markets.


Dmitry Krasovsky, the director of NAIP, informed about the purposes of the visit, among them were to study the investment potential of the Free Economic Zone, to see the investment sites that can be recommended to foreign partners for the implementation of their investment projects. An important component of the working meeting was the establishment of close cooperation in improving the investment attractiveness of the "Brest" FEZ and the Brest region.


The head of the "Brest" FEZ Administration spoke about the tasks being solved by the FEZ, its investment potential, the results of economic activity and development plans, as well as the problematic issues caused by the pandemic and the restriction measures from abroad.


The Brest region proximity to the EU markets, its high logistics potential and developed infrastructure, were also mentioned during the cooperation talks.

After the meeting, the NAIP representatives visited the FEZ investment site “Airport” with available   land plots with ready-made engineering and transport infrastructure.
