On July 15, a new resident was registered at the administration of the free economic zone "Brest". "Ivatsevichdrev" OJSC is the 74th resident of the FEZ. Registration of an enterprise in the FEZ "Brest" was made possible through the expansion of the territory in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 152 dated April 29, 2020.


The Chief Executive Officer of the administration of the FEZ "Brest" Fedor Kolonchuk handed the certificate of registration to Alexander Ilnitsky, the General Director of "Ivatsevichdrev" OJSC. The parties signed an agreement on the conditions of the enterprise's activity in the free economic zone. As a FEZ resident, the company intends to increase volumes and expand the range of products.


"Ivatsevichdrev" is one of the largest woodworking enterprises in the country, specializing in the production of chipboard-laminated boards, lumber, furniture, synthetic resins, etc. The company employs more than 1,000 people, it is a city-forming enterprise. The company's products are made of environmentally friendly raw materials and meet the highest quality standards and are widely used in furniture production in our country and abroad. Many products are export-oriented.


During the meeting with the executive board of the administration of the FEZ "Brest", Alexander Ilnitsky presented the main economic indicators of "Ivatsevichdrev" and the goals of the strategic development of the enterprise in the status of a resident of the FEZ. The enterprise plans to expand production, increase profitability, create new jobs and improve working conditions.
