The results of the annual republican competition "The best businessman of the year of 2020" have been summed up. In two nominations, the winners of the competition were the heads of the "Brest" FEZ enterprises-residents. In the nomination “For making higher the prestige of the brand “Made in Belarus”, the winner was Sergey Nedbaylov, director of JV“ Santa Bremor ”LLC.


Sergey Nedbailov has been working for 20 years as a director of JV "Santa Bremor" LLC, which is a part of the "Santa" group of companies. With his direct participation, the company has become one of the largest food manufacturers in Europe. The company produces over 1000 products in 13 categories, including red fish, seafood, salads, semi-finished dough products and ice cream. Since 2000, this resident company of "Brest" FEZ has been working in the CIS markets, and for more than 10 years it has been working in the EU markets. Products are made at 6 modern factories located in Belarus and Russia. The company employs over 5 thousand people.

In 2019, JV “Santa Bremor” LLC was recognized as the winner of the Best Exporter competition. It should be noted that the enterprise has become the laureate of this competition in the category "Food Industry" for the third year in a row.

“Santa Bremor”  is one of the brands that promotes the common brand “Made in Belarus” at the world markets  and it contributes to the increase of the country's prestige.

"For active attraction and effective use of investments"

Luigi Lopez, director of «Freeza Industry” FLLC, became the laureate of "The best businessman of the year of 2020" competition in the nomination “For active attraction and effective use of investments”.

The foreign company was registered as the "Brest" FEZ resident in December 2011. «Freeza Industry” FLLC is the only manufacturer of thermo-insulating (energy-saving) coatings for refrigeration equipment and glass systems in the CIS countries, using modern European technologies and design.


The new project was implemented with the direct participation of Luigi Lopez, an Italian engineer, who arrived to Brest nine years ago and he set up a successful, dynamically developing enterprise from scratch. Since September 3rd, 2018, the new plant has been built by the company. Today, "Freeza Industry" FLLC is not only the enterprise with advanced technologies and new jobs, but it is also a positive example of effective investment and successful business in the "Brest" FEZ territory.

"The best businessman of the year of 2020" is the annual republican business competition which has been held since 1996. The organizer is the public editorial council of the "Delo" publishing group. The best managers of the most efficient enterprises in 12 nominations become laureates of the competition every year .  The title of the laureate is awarded to a prominent participant only once. The winners are awarded with diplomas and prizes.
