"Brest" FEZ Administration continues to carry out the planned work to improve and develop the engineering and transport infrastructure of the industrial areas of the free economic zone.
The most promising investment site is the Airport site for production with a total area of 1207 hectares. The site is located 3 km east of Brest, next to the M1 / E30 motorway (Brest-Minsk-Moscow), adjoining the Brest airport.
Most part of the site has already been provided with the necessary engineering infrastructure, including power supply, gas and water supply, sewerage, and telephone lines. This allowed the economic entities of the FEZ to locate ten enterprises here. Two more are under construction.
At present, construction of engineering and transport communications is underway at the investment site, named the Italian Industrial District. The specified area occupies 26 hectares, of which 20 hectares are provided for the construction of production facilities for residents of the FEZ. A 5 MW transformer substation and a sewage pumping station have already been built on the territory.
In addition, a road network, water supply and storm sewer are being constructed. The work is carried out by the contractor - UE "Brestvodstroy". Specialists of the territorial development department of the "Brest" FEZ administration are monitoring the process of the construction. Completion of the work is scheduled for 2021.
Thus, the necessary conditions are created for the business partners of the free economic zone, allowing them to immediately engage in the implementation of investment projects.
Residents of the FEZ "Brest" will get additional opportunities for the construction of new industrial facilities on vacant land plots, saving substantial funds when creating an enterprise infrastructure.
