On May, 26th, a new resident, LLC “ Savantdrev”, was registered in the “Brest” Free Economic Zone.

Alexander Shukailo, a deputy head of the FEZ administration, handed over the registration certificate to the project manager Alexander Vyboyshchik.


The new enterprise will deal with woodprocessing and lumber production. In addition, the production of fuel pellets (pellets) from wood waste is also planned. Pellets - a type of biofuel obtained by grinding bark, sawdust, etc. followed by pressing them into cylindrical granules of standard size. This type of fuel is very popular abroad, including the EU countries.

LLC “Savantdrev” is expected to export up to 85% of its products to the foreign markets.

During the implementation of the investment project, it is planned to employ at least 15 people.
