In December 2000, the production and trade unitary enterprise “GEFEST-Quartz” was registered as a resident of the "Brest" FEZ. The founder of the enterprise was “Brestgazoapparat” JV.

The amount of investments in the creation of a new production amounted to USD 1.745 million. The created enterprise is located on the territory of the industrial and warehouse base of the founder.

In August 2001, having completed all construction and commissioning works, the enterprise reached its planned capacity. The main activity is the industrial processing of sheet glass and the manufacture of tempered glass products with decorative ceramic paints coating (panels, panoramic and interior glass, work surfaces, covers) for gas, electric and gas-electric stoves and air cleaners.


The new production was import-substituting, since earlier Brestgazoapparat JV had to import tempered glass products from abroad. The technical equipment of the production is in line with modern requirements and allows to implement the tasks set for the enterprise.

The workshops are equipped with high-speed, automated and computerized equipment from leading manufacturers, which allows a full cycle of glass processing and tempering. With the help of diamond tools and water, sheet glass is transformed into blanks of various shapes and sizes.

The most daring ideas of designers are implemented in practice by the screen printing method, which gives the GEFEST brand household appliances a modern attractive look.


On tempering lines, after heating the glass to the softening temperature and rapid cooling, the products can withstand temperature, shock and static loads. The range of products is impressive. Today the company produces more than 350 units of products monthly, and 10 years ago - no more than 100.


Since November 2005 the enterprise has a certificate of conformity, confirming that the quality management system in the production of tempered glass and glass products it complies with the requirements of STB ISO 9001, and since December 2010 - a certificate of conformity confirming that the environmental management system at the enterprise meets the requirements of STB ISO 14001.


Highly qualified specialists are the main asset of “GEFEST-Quartz”. The close-knit team of the enterprise has doubled in recent years and today numbers 250 people.

“GEFEST-Quartz” is constantly evolving. Currently, the needs of the GEFEST group of companies for tempered glass products are fully satisfied. Having sufficient production capacity, the company is constantly working to expand sales area.

For this purpose, in February 2017, “GEFEST-Quartz” certified tempered glass with a thickness of 4 to 10 mm of protection class CM3 for compliance with the requirements of GOST 30698 and TR2009/013/BY. This allowed to produce and provide services for tempering glass products for the construction, furniture industry and others. The services of “GEFEST-Quartz” for processing and tempering glass are currently used by enterprises in Brest, Grodno, Vitebsk, Pinsk and other cities, which operate not only on the domestic market, but also export their products. “GEFEST-Quartz” UE continues its development.

Today a large-scale investment program is being implemented there. In 2017–2019, more than 3 million rubles of investments were spent on technical re-equipment of production.
