The delegation of the Council of Regions of the “LEVIATAN” Confederation (Republic of Poland) took part in the First Economic Forum of twin-cities and partners of Brest.
It comprised representatives of regional organizations from all over Poland. The delegation was headed by Roman Rogalsky, Chairman of the Council of Regions of the “LEVIATAN” Confederation.
LEVIATAN is a large business structure representing the interests of employers in Poland and European Union. The association contributes to the successful economic activity of enterprises, healthy competition, employment and the strengthening of human resources.
In 2016, an Agreement on partnership was signed between the administration of the FEZ Brest and the Council of Regions of the “LEVIATAN” Confederation. Within the framework of business cooperation, joint activities that contribute to strengthening economic cooperation and raising awareness of the Polish business community about the investment potential of the Brest FEZ are held.
During the event, the delegation members visited the exhibition of goods and services offered by the enterprises of Brest and their partners. The exhibition presented numerous products from food to cars.
At the forum, Polish businessmen met with the management of the FEZ administration and the Brest City Executive Committee. Issues of developing business cooperation and attraction of Polish business to the investment sites of the free economic zone and the Brest region were discussed.
The guests visited the industrial zone near the airport, where they got acquainted with the work of resident enterprises of the FEZ with Polish capital. Currently, in the structure of the free economic zone "Brest", the share of Polish business is 16% of the total volume of foreign investments.
